Gavin Blue

Gavin Blue is an advertising and commercial photographer who did two talks, one on pricing and one on speedlights. Both of his workshops were very good, and he was quite an interesting person.
His pricing talk was just about figuring how much you need to charge in order to live by figuring out all of your expenses, and then dividing it by the average number of jobs you will do. He also talked about how to set up a business and how to get your name out there.

His speedlight workshop was very interesting, and he really proved that you can achieve big things with little lights. The advantage of speedlights is that they are much more portable than large flash systems, which is very handy for doing stuff on location.
